What is Ming Mu Di Huang Tang (Nourish Vision)?

Ming Mu Di Huang Tang (Nourish Vision) is a Chinese Herbal Medicine formula (in liquid, tincture form) recommended for those with poor vision, dry eyes, and blurred vision. It starts with the classical TCM formula (Liu Wei Di Huang Wan (Six Flavor Rehmannia)) as a base formula and then adds several herbs that further tonify and strengthen the Liver, which, according to TCM theory, is the organ that needs to be fully nourished in order to promote strong, healthy eyes and clear vision. Ming Mu Di Huang Tang may be used for the following deficiency-based conditions:

Shu Di Huang / Wine-Prepared Rehmannia root 18% Shan Zhu Yu / Cornus fruit 9.00% Shan Yao / Dioscorea / Wild Yam root 9.00% Shi Jue Ming / Abalone / Haliotis shell 9.00% Mu Dan Pi / Moutan 6.90% Fu Ling / Poria fungus  6.90% Ze Xie / Alisma 6.90% Gou Qi Zi / Lycium fruit 6.90% Ju Hua / Chrysanthemum flower 6.90% Bai Ji Li / Tribulus fruit  6.90% Dang Gui / Angelica root 6.80% Bai Shao / White Peony root /6.80% Shake Well before each use. Maintenance Serving: Dissolve 1-2 droppers (1/2 tsp.) in warm water or juice 2-3 times daily.
