Plum Flower - Ligusticum Teapills (Chuan Xiong Wan)

What is it?

Ligusticum Teapills, or Chuan Xiong Wan is a Chinese Herbal Medicine formula recommended for those with headaches or migraines-- especially those coming in conjunction with catching a cold/getting sick; (in TCM terms a wind-cold invasion). Symptoms that indicate the use of this formula may include:

• Headache
• Migraine
• Aversion to cold
• Fever (low-grade, perhaps with alternating chills)
• Dizziness
• Nervous headache

Herbal Ingredients:

• Bo He – Mint – Herba Menthae
• Chuan Xiong – Sichuan Lovage Rhizome – Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong
• Jing Jie – Schizonepeta – Herba Schizonepetae
• Qiang Huo – Notopterygium – Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii
• Bai Zhi – Dahurican Angelica Root – Radix Angelicae Dahuricae
• Gan Cao – Licorice Root – Radix Glycyrrhizae
• Fang Feng – Siler – Radix Saposhnikoviae
• Gui Zhi – Cinnamon Twig – Ramulus Cinnamomi

Other Ingredients: Activated carbon, Botanical wax, Talcum

Dosage Instructions:

Take 8 pills, three times per day (or as directed by your healthcare professional).

Amount: 200 teapills.

Contraindicated during pregnancy.
