Plum Flower - Serene Spirit Teapills, or Gan Mai Da Zao Wan is a classical Chinese Herbal Medicine formula (c. 220AD) that nourishes the Heart (qi, yin, and blood) and calms the shen (or spirit-- for when the Heart is properly nourished, the shen can find its home and rest peacefully). It is most appropriately used for emotional issues/imbalances such as: mood swings, unprovoked crying spells, anxiety/depression/emotional instability, and restless sleep with vivid dreaming (that is disturbing sleep cycles). Serene Spirit Teapills, or Gan Mai Da Zao Wan is widely used for the treatment of various diseases of the internal organ and of the central nervous system (e.g., depression, irritability, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSDs), and acute psychological stress); it is also used in surgery, gynecology, and pediatrics.
