Stephania & Astragalus Teapills-- by Plum Flower (Fang Ji Huang Qi Wan) has the TCM functions of eliminating dampness, dispelling wind, and augmenting the qi of the Spleen and the exterior layers (wei). It is intended for use as a diuretic to address superficial edema, ascites, watery diarrhea, and joint pain and stiffness due to dampness (both in the environment as well as in the body) when there are the other symptoms of sweating, a heavy sensation in the body, and urinary difficulty also present. This formula can be used alone or as an adjunct to address edema associated with chronic deficiency syndromes/diseases and for swollen joints in arthritis and rheumatism.                    

Herbal Ingredients:

• Huang Qi – Astragalus – Radix Astragali (honey-fried)
• Han Fang Ji – Stephania Root – Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae
• Bai Zhu – White Atractylodes – Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae(honeyed, bran-fried)
• Da Zao – Jujube Date – Fructus Jujubae
• Sheng Jiang – Fresh Ginger – Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens
• Zhi Gan Cao – Honey-fried Licorice Root – Radix Glycyrrhizae

Other Ingredients: Dextrin (Maltose), Hydrated magnesium silicate, Activated carbon, China wax Allergen Information: Atractylodes/Bai zhu is stir-fried with wheat bran. While the bran is sifted out during processing, it may contain traces of wheat.  

Directions for use:

Take 8 teapills, 3x/day (or as directed by your healthcare practitioner). Amount: 200 teapills per bottle (approximately 8 days supply at bottle dosage).
