Shu Di Huang Tang (Wine-Prepared Rehmannia Root)- Liquid Extract (Tincture):

The Chinese Herb Shu di (huang) is the dried root of the rehmannia plant (Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch) that has been soaked in millet wine & steamed. It is slightly warming and is said to "strongly" tonify blood & yin. It is among the most commonly prescribed herbs in Chinese Medicine to address gynecological issues stemming from blood deficiency (such as spotting, amenorrhea, light color/flow volume, or other irregularities). Shu di huang also greatly tonifies yin to address such symptoms as: weakness/soreness of the lower back and knees, tinnitus & diminished hearing, tidal fever, and night sweats...   • Shu Di Huang – Prepared Rehmannia – Radix Rehmanniae Preparata

Dosage Instructions for Shu Di Huang Tang (Wine-Prepared Rehmannia Root)- Liquid Extract (Tincture):

  • Shake Well before each use.
  • Maintenance Serving: Dissolve 1-2 droppers (1/2 tsp.) in warm water or juice 2-3 times daily.
  • Augmented Serving: Take 1 full tsp. 2 to 3 times daily in warm water or juice or as directed by a qualified herbalist familiar with the use of Chinese herbs and formulas.
  • To evaporate alcohol place in hot water.
Amount: varies: 1 oz. = approximately 10 days supply at bottle dosage.
